1. Who we are

Luminary is a concierge celebrity-booking service. Clients tell us which public figure they would like to book, our team approaches the talent or their representatives, and we manage the booking end to end. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

2. Information we collect

Account details — your name, email address and password credentials (passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile image.
Request details — the talent you are asking for, event type, date, city, venue, audience size, budget range, message occasion and any notes you add.
Communications — emails, verification codes and messages exchanged with our concierge team.
Technical data — basic log and device data needed to operate and secure the site.

3. How we use it

To review your request and negotiate access with talent or their representatives.
To email you the agent and booking details, plus status updates.
To verify your email address and protect accounts from misuse.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary: the relevant details of your request with the talent or their representatives; email content with our email delivery provider; and application data with our hosting and database provider. We may also disclose information where required by law.

5. Retention

We keep request and booking records for as long as your account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal or dispute-resolution purposes. Verification codes expire within minutes of being issued.

6. Your choices

You can review and update your details from your account page, ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time. Deleting your account does not remove records we must retain for completed transactions.

7. Security

Access to client data is restricted to authorised members of our team, database access is governed by row-level security rules, and we never collect card or payment details. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

Luminary is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Bookings on behalf of a minor must be placed by a parent or guardian.

9. Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email. Questions about privacy or a data request can be sent to our concierge team.
